Prudential plc has executed a share buyback transaction, repurchasing 265,056 of its 5 pence ordinary shares from JP Morgan Securities plc on 3 February 2026 under an existing shareholder-approved authority and buyback arrangement. The shares, bought at an average price of £12.1170 and within a range of £12.0050 to £12.2350, will be cancelled, reducing the number of shares in issue to 2,541,586,709 and setting the new total voting rights figure for regulatory disclosure purposes, a move that marginally enhances earnings-per-share and underscores the group’s ongoing capital management strategy.
