Proximar Seafood’s Milestone in Local Salmon Harvest

Proximar Seafood AS, a Norwegian company with operations at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan, celebrates its first commercial harvest of domestically produced Atlantic salmon, marking a significant milestone in local production. The company has launched its Fuji Atlantic Salmon brand, aiming to establish itself as a market leader in Japanese and Asian markets. With a 10-year sales agreement with Marubeni and a targeted long-term harvest of 5,300 tonnes per year, Proximar is set to supply fresh, high-quality salmon directly to the Tokyo region.
