Proton Motor’s Fuel Cell Tech Powers German Rail

Proton Power Systems (GB:PPS) has released an update.

Proton Motor Power Systems has successfully completed a follow-on order for a hydrogen fuel cell emergency power system for DB Bahnbau Gruppe, a Deutsche Bahn AG subsidiary. This marks the company’s progress in deploying zero-emission fuel cell technologies in the rail sector, with potential for future orders following a successful site acceptance test. The installation at a Berlin railway control centre underscores Proton Motor’s commitment to supporting Deutsche Bahn’s transition away from diesel generators by 2026.
