Prosus refreshes board with ex-Google payments chief as long-serving director retires

Prosus ( (NL:PRX) ) has shared an announcement.

Prosus has reshaped its board and key committees, nominating former Google and PayPal executive Arnold Goldberg as an independent non-executive director ahead of its next annual general meeting. Goldberg, who has extensive experience building and scaling global payments and platform businesses, is also expected to join the board of Naspers Limited, with the company confirming he has passed all required fit and proper assessments.

The group also announced that long-serving independent non-executive director Roberto Oliveira de Lima will retire from the Prosus board and its human resources, remuneration and nominations committees on 1 July 2026. In a further adjustment to its governance structure, Prosus said independent non-executive director Ying Xu will join the human resources and remuneration committee from the same date, underscoring a continued refresh of board oversight and governance capabilities.
