Prosper Construction Holdings Limited ( (HK:6816) ) has provided an announcement.
Prosper Construction Holdings has warned that it expects to post a loss after tax of at least HK$126 million for the year ended 31 December 2025, slightly narrowing from the HK$151 million loss a year earlier. The projection includes an impairment provision on financial assets of about HK$65 million, and the company is still assessing whether further asset impairment will be required, which could deepen the full-year loss.
The group reported improved operating income in 2025, with revenue up approximately HK$248 million and gross profit rising by about HK$33 million, alongside a HK$25 million reduction in administrative expenses due to cost controls. However, higher finance costs of roughly HK$24 million and ongoing impairment charges meant gross profit remained insufficient to cover overheads, leaving the company in a continued loss-making position and prompting a cautionary signal to shareholders and potential investors ahead of its final results in March 2026.
The most recent analyst rating on (HK:6816) stock is a Sell with a HK$0.21 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Prosper Construction Holdings Limited stock, see the HK:6816 Stock Forecast page.
