PowerX, Inc. has secured a large-scale order for its PowerX Mega Power 2500 stationary battery energy storage system, including related equipment and maintenance services, from an undisclosed energy-sector customer. The contract is valued at approximately JPY 6.9 billion, with revenue scheduled to be recognized in the fiscal year ending December 2027.
The company stated that the deal will not affect its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026, as the revenue impact lies entirely in the following year. This order is already counted within the JPY 34.7 billion in probable orders projected for recognition in 2027, underscoring PowerX’s growing backlog and visibility into future revenue in the grid-scale storage market.
