Power Metal Resources Plc ( (GB:POW) ) has provided an update.

Power Metal Resources has repurchased 350,000 of its own ordinary shares at 13.0364p each through joint broker SP Angel, and will hold the shares in treasury, increasing its treasury holding to 2,344,161 shares. Following this transaction, the company’s total voting rights stand at 113,266,276 ordinary shares in issue excluding treasury stock, a figure shareholders must use when assessing disclosure obligations under FCA transparency rules.

The move forms part of Power Metal’s broader capital management approach, under which value realised from project disposals can be returned to investors through mechanisms including share buy-backs, dividends or in-specie distributions. By tightening its free float while continuing to advance a diversified global exploration portfolio, the company aims to enhance shareholder value and maintain flexibility in how it funds and monetises future resource discoveries.
