PolyNovo has appointed Dr Marthe D’Ombrain as Chief Scientific Officer, effective 1 June 2026, strengthening its leadership team as it advances its NovoSorb technology platform for complex wound care. Dr D’Ombrain brings more than two decades of experience in R&D strategy, external innovation, licensing and commercialisation, most recently as Executive Director and Head of Global Research Innovation at CSL, and holds governance roles including a non-executive directorship at AusBiotech.
The company expects her expertise in building global research portfolios, forging academic and industry partnerships, and navigating listed-company governance to accelerate pipeline development and support PolyNovo’s next phase of growth. CEO Bruce Peatey highlighted that her track record in translating scientific innovation into growth programs will be instrumental in scaling NovoSorb products globally, while D’Ombrain said she aims to use her global networks and innovation experience to increase the velocity of PolyNovo’s R&D pipeline and bolster its expanding international footprint.
