The board aims to optimise the company’s capital structure and enhance shareholder value while maintaining capacity for continued property investments, supported by what it describes as strong cash flow.
The buybacks may be conducted on one or several occasions until the 2027 annual general meeting, subject to the condition that Platzer’s treasury holding does not exceed 10 percent of total shares. As of the announcement date, Platzer had 119,934,292 shares outstanding, including 99,934,292 Class B shares, and already held 1,410,421 Class B shares in treasury, with future repurchases to be reported in line with regulatory requirements.
