Platinum Asset Management Limited has received a non-binding, indicative takeover proposal from Regal Partners Limited, which includes a share exchange scheme and a potential special dividend for Platinum shareholders. The offer is contingent on due diligence and various approvals, and while the Platinum Board evaluates the proposal’s merits, shareholders are advised not to take any action at this time. Platinum has engaged Jefferies Australia and Allens as financial and legal advisers, respectively, to assist in the assessment of the offer.
