Planetree International Development Limited has released its unaudited interim financial results for the first half of 2024, revealing a significant increase in net loss to HK$94,291,000 compared to HK$31,118,000 in the previous year. The report shows declines in various income streams including asset management service income, financial advisory service income, and interest income from margin clients, as well as a substantial other comprehensive expense of HK$67,254,000 due to fair value changes in investments.
