Planetree International Anticipates Increased Half-Year Loss

Planetree International Development Limited has issued a profit warning, expecting to report a considerable unaudited consolidated loss before tax of approximately HK$51.1 million for the six months ending 30 June 2024, a significant increase from the loss of HK$30.5 million in the comparable period of 2023. The anticipated loss is primarily due to unrealized fair value losses on financial assets and the share of loss from associates.
