Planetree International Development Limited has announced the acquisition of Warpdrive Technology Limited, a move that aligns with the growing global semiconductor market driven by AI demand. The acquisition, valued at HK$7,500,000, will be settled through the issuance of 15,000,000 consideration shares, making Warpdrive a wholly-owned subsidiary. Additionally, Mr. Dai Bin, the sole shareholder of Warpdrive, will be appointed as an executive director, expected to strengthen Planetree’s position in the AI chip and semiconductor sectors.
