Planet Fitness (PLNT) has issued an update.
The company has struck a deal with its Chief Financial Officer, Tom Fitzgerald, to stay on through the end of 2024, allowing the company time to find and prepare his successor. Fitzgerald will receive his 2024 bonus and, starting January 2025, act as a consultant for three months, earning $10,000 monthly. His equity awards will continue to vest during this period, with provisions for early vesting should his consulting role be terminated without cause.
