Pinestone Capital Anticipates Mid-Year Loss

Pinestone Capital Ltd (HK:0804) has released an update.

Pinestone Capital Ltd has issued a profit warning, anticipating a net loss of up to HK$1.0 million for the six months ending 30 June 2024, a downturn from the net profit of HK$0.3 million during the same period the previous year. The anticipated loss is largely due to impairment losses on trade and loans receivables related to securities-backed lending services. The interim results are still under review and will be detailed in an upcoming announcement in August 2024.
