Pilot Energy Limited ( (AU:PGY) ) has provided an update.
Pilot Energy has advanced its Dongara Data Centre Project, receiving initial 1 MW modular data centre units at the Port of Kwinana and transporting them to the Cliff Head onshore plant, where civil works for concrete pad foundations have started. The project, run with partner Kala Data, repurposes existing gas-fired generation capacity and is positioned as a strategic step into data infrastructure.
Site construction is due to finish in late March, with electrical connection to the 4.4 MW generators expected by late March and commissioning of the first 1 MW module targeted for early April 2026. Once operational, the data centre will connect to international networks via a Starlink satellite link, marking a new revenue stream and diversifying Pilot Energy’s use of its existing energy assets.
