An update from Pharos Energy ( (GB:PHAR) ) is now available.

Pharos Energy reported that group working interest production for the first four months of 2026 averaged 5,561 boepd, broadly in line with guidance, supported by a major six-well offshore drilling campaign in Vietnam and the start of a six-well onshore programme in Egypt. The Vietnam campaign, the largest investment in those assets in years, is nearly complete with five wells drilled on time and on budget, boosting output and reserves and expected to lift Vietnam volumes by about 20%, while the new Egyptian wells are also targeting a similar production uplift.

Revenue for January to April reached about $49m, underpinned by strong realised oil prices, including notable premia to Brent in Vietnam, and the company ended April with roughly $31m in cash and improving receivables in Egypt. Pharos has hedged around 38% of its 2026 forecast entitlement production and 17% of first-half 2027 output to manage price volatility, while continuing to pursue farm-out discussions on Vietnamese exploration blocks and assess additional acquisition opportunities to scale its portfolio and enhance shareholder returns.

Spark’s Take on PHAR Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, PHAR is a Outperform.

The score is driven primarily by strong financial resilience (near-zero leverage and solid free cash flow) and a constructive technical uptrend. These positives are tempered by volatile profitability/revenue and a negative P/E that reflects earnings instability, despite a supportive dividend yield.
