euglena Co., Ltd. (JP:2931) has released an update.
PETRONAS, Enilive, and Euglena Co., Ltd. have made a final investment decision to build a biorefinery in Malaysia, aimed at producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel and other biofuels to meet the global demand in the aviation and transportation sectors. Slated to begin construction later this year and start operations by the second half of 2028, the facility will process approximately 650,000 tonnes of raw materials annually. The strategic collaboration leverages the partners’ expertise to contribute to a carbon neutral society and positions them to enter the Asian market with a strong global footprint.
