Petratherm Ltd Clarifies Tax on Share Distribution

Petratherm Ltd (AU:PTR) has released an update.

Petratherm Ltd has communicated to its shareholders the final tax implications of the Outback Goldfield Corp share distribution following a decision by the ATO. The ATO has determined that a portion of the distribution will be considered an unfranked dividend for tax purposes, contradicting Petratherm’s earlier view. Shareholders are advised to review their tax filings in accordance with the latest ATO guidance.
