Perseus Mining ( (AU:PRU) ) has provided an update.
Perseus Mining has appointed experienced mining executive Wade Bickley as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 June 2026, with the role based in the company’s Dubai office. Bickley brings over 25 years of experience across gold and base metals operations in Australia and Africa, including senior roles at AngloGold Ashanti, Anglo American and Appian Capital’s base metals business.
The appointment comes at a pivotal stage for Perseus as it ramps up underground mining at Yaouré and advances the Nyanzaga project, described as one of Africa’s most significant new gold developments. Management expects Bickley’s background in complex African operations, production optimisation and major project execution to strengthen operational performance and support the company’s growth trajectory across its African asset base.
