Perenti Global ( (AU:PRN) ) has provided an announcement.
Perenti has appointed Dr Vanessa Torres as its new managing director and chief executive, succeeding Mark Norwell as part of a planned leadership transition. Torres, a former South32 chief operating officer with more than 25 years of experience at major miners including BHP and Vale, will join the company in April and assume the top role in June, with Norwell staying on to support the handover.
The board said Torres was chosen after an extensive global search to build on the fourfold revenue growth and operational improvements delivered under Norwell’s tenure. Her appointment, supported by a substantial remuneration and incentive package tied to long- and short-term performance, is intended to advance Perenti’s strategy of developing a fully diversified portfolio and driving sustainable long-term growth for shareholders and other stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:PRN) stock is a Hold with a A$2.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Perenti Global stock, see the AU:PRN Stock Forecast page.
