The People’s Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited has announced a final ordinary dividend of RMB 0.156 per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2023, which will be paid at an exchange rate of RMB 1 to HKD 1.09598169, amounting to HKD 0.17097314 per share. Shareholders’ approval for the dividend was obtained on 28 June 2024, with the dividend payable on 09 August 2024. The company also detailed withholding tax rates for various shareholder categories, including a 10% rate for non-resident individuals and enterprises, and a 20% rate for residents within the PRC investing through stock connects.
