Patriot Battery Metals Inc. has secured a strategic investment of approximately C$69 million from Volkswagen, acquiring a 9.9% stake to advance its Shaakichiuwaanaan Lithium Project in Québec. This partnership includes a binding agreement to supply 100,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate annually to Volkswagen’s battery manufacturer, PowerCo, over a decade. This move strengthens Patriot’s position as a significant supplier in the North American and European battery markets.
