Patagonia Lithium Limited ( (AU:PL3) ) just unveiled an update.
Patagonia Lithium has advanced environmental permitting for its Formentera and Cilon lithium brine projects in Jujuy, Argentina, submitting an Environmental Impact Assessment for the advanced exploration stage to the Olaroz Chico Indigenous Community. It has also ensured official mining notices were served and acknowledged by key provincial authorities, positioning the 1,000 tonne demonstration plant for full permitting and facilitating a forthcoming UGAMP meeting with government and community stakeholders.
Operationally, drilling at the Formentera project continues to progress, with Well 7 reaching 150 metres and undergoing a second packer test as the company awaits further seismic, core porosity, assay and pump-test results. These steps build on a previously reported mineral resource of 551,400 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent and support Patagonia Lithium’s efforts to solidify its resource base and advance towards potential future development in the highly competitive lithium brine sector.
