Parkway Life Real Estate Investment ( (SG:C2PU) ) has shared an announcement.

Parkway Life REIT has launched a new Sustainable Financing Framework and completed key refinancing exercises, securing its maiden 10-year JPY8.8 billion unsecured social loan from DBS Bank and pricing a 5-year SGD70 million senior unsecured green bond at a fixed coupon of 2.103%. The green bond, known as the Series 009 Notes, will be issued with UOB as sole lead manager and bookrunner, and both instruments qualify respectively as a social loan and a green bond under the new framework.

Proceeds from the JPY social loan and Series 009 Notes will be fully used to refinance loans maturing in the fourth quarter of 2026, leaving PLife REIT with no long-term debt refinancing needs until March 2027. Following these transactions, the REIT’s weighted average debt term to maturity is expected to increase from 3.0 years to about 4.1 years, bolstering its capital structure, lengthening its debt profile and enhancing financial flexibility for stakeholders.
