Pan American Energy Corp. has announced a partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno for advanced metallurgical testing of lithium samples from its Horizon and Big Mack Lithium Projects. This collaboration with UNR’s Sustainable Mining Laboratory aims to contribute to the development of preliminary economic assessments for these projects, leveraging UNR’s expertise with major lithium companies. The testing will encompass several phases, including sample preparation, comprehensive analysis, leach extraction testing, lithium recovery, and potential by-product exploration.
