Oxford Nanopore Technologies PLC, a leader in nanopore-based molecular sensing technology, has announced its intention to transfer its ordinary shares from the Transition category to the Equity Shares (Commercial Companies) category on the FCA’s Official List. The move, which does not require shareholder approval, is anticipated to be effective from November 6, 2024, and is expected to widen the investor base and enhance liquidity, with potential FTSE UK Index Series inclusion at the December 2024 review.
