Orogen Royalties Inc. has provided a promising update on the Merlin gold deposit in Nevada, revealing 9.05 million ounces of gold and 15.22 million ounces of silver in inferred mineral resources. The deposit, part of the Expanded Silicon project, boasts a potential 14-year mine life with significant production peaks in the third and fourth years. Orogen, holding a 1% net smelter return royalty, is looking ahead as AngloGold Ashanti, the project owner, advances towards a pre-feasibility study.
