Orkla ASA has divested Lilleborg AS, a leader in the Norwegian B2B cleaning solutions market, to Solenis for 600 million NOK, estimated to net Orkla a gain of 475 million NOK. This move aligns with Orkla’s strategic shift toward becoming an industrial investment entity, aiming for a more streamlined portfolio. Solenis, a global specialty chemicals manufacturer, expects the acquisition to enhance cross-selling opportunities, leveraging Lilleborg’s expertise in the water treatment sector.
