Orange Minerals NL ( (AU:OMX) ) has shared an announcement.
Orange Minerals has reported results from its first deep diamond drill hole at the Lennon’s Find Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara, confirming the continuation of volcanic massive sulphide-style mineralisation at depth and extending the known system about 675 metres down dip. The hole intersected a broad anomalous 10.6-metre polymetallic interval, including elevated zinc, lead and silver, and validated the existing geological model by confirming the favourable host stratigraphy and mineralisation position within the Duffer Formation.
Although the primary induced polarisation geophysical target was not directly intersected, downhole electromagnetic surveying identified multiple conductive responses that now provide clear vectors for follow-up drilling. The work, partly funded under the state’s Exploration Incentive Scheme, is expected to guide the next phase of deeper targeting toward potentially thicker and higher-grade zones, while reducing exploration costs and reinforcing the project’s VMS prospectivity for investors and stakeholders.
