Oracle ( (ORCL) ) has shared an announcement.
On April 6, 2026, Oracle appointed Hilary Maxson as Chief Financial Officer and Principal Financial Officer, succeeding Douglas Kehring, who will continue as Executive Vice President of Operations. Maxson, formerly Group CFO at Schneider Electric and a non-executive director at Anglo American, will lead Oracle’s global finance organization and receive a compensation package combining salary, bonus eligibility, relocation support, and a $26 million mix of time- and performance-based equity awards.
Her appointment comes as Oracle reports its strongest quarterly performance in over 15 years, with more than 20% growth in organic total revenue and non-GAAP EPS, driven by surging demand for cloud infrastructure, AI, multicloud databases, and applications. Bringing deep experience in scaling capital-intensive, infrastructure and software businesses, Maxson is expected to help optimize capital allocation and support Oracle’s rapid cloud expansion and long-term value creation for customers and shareholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (ORCL) stock is a Buy with a $320.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Oracle stock, see the ORCL Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on ORCL Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ORCL is a Neutral.
The score is held back mainly by financial risk—very high leverage and sharply negative TTM free cash flow—despite strong profitability. Offsetting this, the latest earnings call was notably upbeat with rapid cloud/AI growth and a very large RPO backlog. Technicals are mixed (below key longer-term moving averages with negative MACD), while valuation appears moderately demanding (P/E ~27.9) with only a modest dividend yield.
