Ophir Gold Corp. has officially changed its name to Ophir Metals Corp., a move that reflects the company’s broadened focus on a diverse metals portfolio, including lithium in Quebec and gold and silver in Idaho. Starting June 18, 2024, the company will trade under the new name, but existing shareholders need not take any action as their share certificates will remain valid. Ophir is actively exploring and developing mineral properties in Quebec and Idaho, with options to fully acquire several promising sites.
