Onyx Gold Corp. has appointed industry veteran Vanessa Pickering as Vice President, Investor Relations, strengthening its senior leadership as it advances high-impact gold exploration programs in Timmins, Ontario, and the Yukon. With more than two decades of experience in mining-sector investor relations, corporate communications and capital markets, including key roles at Orezone Gold, IDM Mining and ATAC Resources, Pickering is expected to bolster investor awareness, institutional ownership and stakeholder engagement, particularly in the Yukon and with local communities and First Nations. Concurrently, Onyx granted 1,010,000 restricted share units and 1,415,000 stock options to directors, officers and employees, including allocations to Pickering, under its omnibus incentive plan, aligning management and board incentives with long-term shareholder value as the company seeks to capitalize on its emerging discoveries and district-scale gold portfolio.
