Omega Oil & Gas Limited has announced a partnership with Ensign Australia Pty Ltd to drill the Canyon-1H horizontal well, targeting the Canyon Sandstone within Queensland’s Taroom Trough in Q3 2024. The project aims to enhance gas and liquid hydrocarbon flow rates, leveraging modern drilling and multi-stage stimulation technology. This initiative is expected to significantly advance the development of Eastern Australia’s gas resources.
