Omaxe Unveils India’s First ‘Pink Stand’ Honouring Harmanpreet Kaur at Dwarka Stadium

Omaxe has unveiled India’s first dedicated ‘Pink Stand’ at The Omaxe State Stadium in Dwarka, naming the 1,500-plus seat section in the North Pavilion after Indian women’s cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur. The stand forms part of a 30,000-seat cricket stadium at a ₹2,500 crore, 50-acre integrated sports and lifestyle destination in Dwarka Sector 19B, developed in partnership with the DDA.

The Pink Stand is designed as an inclusive space for women and families, reflecting Omaxe’s bid to broaden live sports audiences while celebrating Kaur’s legacy, who is now the first woman cricketer in India to have two stadium stands named after her. Omaxe also announced it has engaged over 25 national and international consultants, including global design firm Bentel Associates International, to masterplan and design the project’s commercial, hotel, retail and club components, underscoring its ambition to create a world-class sports and entertainment hub in the NCR.
