OMA Reports Growth in Q4 2024 Passenger Traffic

Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V. (OMA) is a leading Mexican airport operator, managing 13 airports in the central and northern regions of Mexico, and is known for its strategic investments in infrastructure and passenger services.

OMA’s fourth-quarter 2024 earnings report highlights a 4.6% increase in passenger traffic compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 7.1 million passengers. The company also reported a 13.6% growth in combined aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenues for the quarter.

Key financial metrics from the report include a 7.9% increase in Adjusted EBITDA to Ps.2,433 million, while the full-year Adjusted EBITDA remained flat at Ps.9,069 million. The company invested Ps.3,458 million in capital and strategic projects throughout 2024, focusing on infrastructure improvements across its airports.

Despite a decrease in full-year passenger traffic by 1.2%, OMA’s strategic focus on expanding routes and enhancing passenger services has driven significant growth in international traffic by 26.4% in the fourth quarter. The company also achieved Level 3 ‘Optimization’ Accreditation for carbon reduction efforts across its airports.
