Olympus Corporation has announced that no shares were repurchased in the period from June 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, despite having a Board-approved plan to buy back up to 60 million common shares, or 5.15% of the outstanding shares, by the end of 2024. The repurchase plan, which allows for a maximum expenditure of JPY 100 billion, involves open market purchases through the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
