Olympus Finalizes Orthopedic Business Divestiture

Olympus (JP:7733) has released an update.

Olympus Corporation has successfully completed the transfer of its Orthopedic Business to entities established by Polaris Capital Group Co., Ltd. on July 12, 2024. The deal, which includes the sale of all shares of its subsidiaries Olympus Terumo Biomaterials Corporation and FH Ortho SAS, is expected to have an immaterial impact on Olympus’s consolidated operating profit for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
