Olympus Corporation has successfully repurchased 13,224,800 of its common shares for a total of JPY 32.86 billion between August 1 and August 31, 2024. This buyback is part of a larger program, announced on May 10, 2024, which aims to acquire up to 60 million shares for as much as JPY 100 billion by the end of the year. As of August 31, the company has bought back 16,034,500 shares, spending JPY 40.18 billion in total.
