Old Mutual ( (ODMUF) ) has shared an announcement.
Old Mutual has announced a series of board and committee changes as part of its structured, phased succession plan designed to balance governance continuity with board refreshment and director tenure limits. The moves underline the group’s focus on maintaining independence, effective shareholder oversight and strong institutional knowledge across its leadership structures.
Technology expert Dr Brian Armstrong will succeed Stewart van Graan as chair of the Technology and Platforms Committee and join the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee after the June 2026 AGM, while van Graan will retire from the board later in the year. In parallel, Itumeleng Kgaboesele will leave the Audit and Actuarial Committees but stay on as Remuneration Committee chair until year-end 2026, and chairman-designate Roger Jardine will assume the board chair, lead Corporate Governance and Nomination, and exit the Remuneration and Responsible Business Committees, with further board appointments to follow pending regulatory approvals.
