OD6 Metals Ltd. ( (AU:OD6) ) just unveiled an update.
OD6 Metals has completed the first phase of exploration at its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, collecting about 320 soil and 40 stream sediment samples to map anomalism around known deposits and along key alteration corridors. The company has partnered with Rangefront Mining Services for the first major exploration effort on the ground in roughly six decades, with assays now at the laboratory and results pending.
Phase 2 work is well advanced, with three geologists and support staff conducting extensive mapping, channel sampling and reconnaissance over an 8km alteration corridor, including the Horseshoe Pit, Mammoth and several historic high-grade prospects. These programs, alongside access track surveys and initial metallurgical testwork, are intended to refine OD6’s geological model, shape its inaugural drill program and support future development studies, underscoring its ambition to become a domestic fluorspar supplier in a U.S. market currently fully dependent on imports.
