Octopus AIM VCT 2 plc has appointed Robert (Ted) Holmes as an independent non-executive director, effective from the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting on 19 May 2026. Holmes, a CFA charterholder and qualified accountant, brings extensive experience in investment management and technology-focused equities to the board.

Holmes is the founder of Blue Ocean Investment Partners and currently serves as CFO of ImpactLoop, as well as holding non-executive roles at The City of London Investment Trust plc and River UK Micro Cap Limited. He will join the company’s Audit Committee on appointment, strengthening the board’s financial oversight and governance capabilities.
