Obsidian Energy Resumes Production, Forges New Agreement

Obsidian Energy (TSE:OBE) has released an update.

Obsidian Energy has resumed production at the Harmon Valley South field after reaching an agreement with the Woodland Cree First Nation, signaling a new chapter of collaboration and mutual benefit. The field, part of the Peace River operations, was previously shut down due to disputes but was producing around 4,500 net barrels of oil equivalent per day before the halt. Details of the agreement, set until the end of 2025, remain confidential between the two parties.
