Obsidian Energy Ltd (TSE:OBE) has released an update.
Obsidian Energy Ltd. has reported a strong start to its 2024 capital program with significant production increases, including a peak rate of over 2,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) from its latest Pembina four-well pad. The company has also seen robust performance from its Viking wells and promising initial results from the Nampa Clearwater well, which is yielding high-quality oil. Overall, Obsidian’s development activity has pushed current production to over 36,500 boe/d, slightly ahead of their year-to-date plan.
