NZME ( (NZMEF) ) has issued an announcement.
NZME has appointed experienced finance professional Kate Parsons as an Independent Director to its board, effective 1 March 2026, with the intention that she will become Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee following the planned retirement of current chair Carol Campbell later this year. Parsons, a Chartered Accountant and seasoned director with a background in technology and high-growth companies, is expected to bolster NZME’s financial governance and support its push to grow digital revenues and efficiencies across its audio, publishing and OneRoof operations, subject to her election at the upcoming annual shareholders’ meeting.
