Nuvei Shareholders Approve Advent Buyout Deal

Nuvei Corp (TSE:NVEI) has released an update.

Nuvei Corporation, a Canadian fintech firm, has gained shareholder approval for a buyout by Advent International, with shareholders greenlighting the plan of arrangement for the company to go private. Under the deal, all outstanding shares will be purchased for US$34.00 each, excluding those held by major stakeholders like Philip Fayer, Novacap, and CDPQ, who will receive a mix of cash and shares in the new private entity. Post-transaction, these key investors will have significant control over the newly private company, with Fayer, Novacap, and CDPQ expected to control approximately 24%, 18%, and 12% respectively.
