Nuvau Minerals launches 17,500-metre drill program at Matagami after $21M financing

Nuvau Minerals Inc. ( (TSE:NMC) ) has provided an update.

Nuvau Minerals has begun a fully funded 17,500-metre drill program at its flagship Matagami property in Québec, following the close of a $21 million financing round. The campaign aims to expand the company’s resource base and advance near-term production plans in a historic mining camp with existing infrastructure.

Drilling will initially target three areas—Thundermine, Daniel 25 and the North Central camp—to test VMS-hosted copper-zinc mineralization and refine a gold exploration model in a district positioned between major regional gold corridors. Nuvau is also working with its drilling contractor on new operational methods, including lightweight rigs, wooden matting and enhanced winter ground preparation, to extend drilling beyond the traditional winter-only season and reduce environmental disturbance in challenging wetland terrain.
