Nuix Ltd. ( (AU:NXL) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Nuix Limited has requested an immediate trading halt in its ordinary shares on the ASX ahead of a Federal Court of Australia judgment in proceedings brought by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission over its IPO-era conduct. The company said the outcome could be material to the value of its securities, and wants to avoid trading occurring while some market participants may have access to the court’s decision before others.
The halt is intended to cover the period from 23 April 2026 until the earlier of the start of normal trading on 24 April 2026 or the release of a detailed market announcement on the judgment’s impact. Nuix told the exchange it needs time after the 4:00pm AEST judgment to review the decision and prepare a considered statement, and that it is not aware of any reason the halt should be refused or of any additional information relevant to informing the market.
