The latest update is out from Nuburu ( (BURU) ).
On March 3, 2026, Nuburu Defense, Tekne and Ukrainian firm Engineering Bureau Beryl signed an International Cooperation Agreement to support deployment in Ukraine of Tekne’s Graelion-based high-performance military vehicle, the Tekne Graelion. The deal creates a framework for qualification, deployment and industrial scaling of the vehicle in Ukraine and ties into an existing Italian-law joint-venture agreement between Tekne and Nuburu Defense.
Under the arrangement, Beryl will verify the vehicle’s compliance with manufacturer specifications, integrate mission-specific kits to meet Ukrainian state customer requirements, and conduct demonstrations for potential buyers. Tekne will supply the chassis and core technology, while a two-year exclusivity period bars Beryl from promoting competing vehicles and prevents Tekne from negotiating similar Ukraine deployments with others.
Nuburu Defense and Tekne will open a joint representative office in Kyiv to coordinate operations, industrial activity and compliance for the program, signaling a deeper local presence in the Ukrainian defense market. Nuburu Defense may also provide capital, advance payments and procurement support, with the two companies jointly determining economic feasibility, pricing, margins and profitability thresholds for transactions involving the Tekne Graelion.
