NU E Power Corp. ( (TSE:NUE) ) just unveiled an update.

NU E Power Corp. has issued a clarifying statement on previously announced hybrid power development opportunities in Brazil, Mongolia, Canada, Malaysia and Nigeria, emphasizing that it and ACT Mid Market Ltd. do not directly own those assets and that no physical assets were acquired. The company now specifies that it holds exclusive options and development rights only for early-stage projects in Darkhan, Mongolia, and Saskatchewan, Canada, while other initiatives in Malaysia, Brazil and Nigeria remain non-binding, exploratory or at memorandum-of-understanding stages with no binding construction, offtake, or financing agreements in place.

For the Mongolian Darkhan Energy Park, NU E has paid for a 12‑month exclusive right to use the property and plans a joint development structure with a 60 percent interest pending feasibility and permits, while its Saskatchewan community power and data center hub is being jointly developed with XBASE on a similar 12‑month site-rights basis. The company also clarifies that campus data center discussions with Malaysian universities are limited to letters of intent, that the Minas Gerais solar project is subject to further due diligence and remains non-binding, that the Lagos hybrid project is at a very preliminary stage, and that its current CEO was not in that role or on the board at the time of the original 2025 announcement, underscoring the early and contingent nature of these ventures for investors and partners.
